Network Upgrades for AMOS Design & Implementation

Asheville Museum of Science On November 11, 2016, the Asheville Museum of Science opened its doors for the first time at a new location in downtown Asheville.  Often referred to as AMOS, the Patton Avenue location is 8,000 square-feet, complete with a hurricane simulator, a panorama screen for exploring planets, and a STEM laboratory. Formerly known as the Colburn Earth Science Museum, the newly branded AMOS serves as Western North Carolina’s home for experiential science learning, discovery, and exploration. AMOS’ previous location was an older building that had not been updated in decades. AMOS stakeholders wanted their new facility to be able to support their staff and guests, and to be able to accommodate future technology based exhibits. Epsilon consulted with AMOS stakeholders during every step of their move to build a modern infrastructure to support their needs. One of Epsilon’s main priorities was to ensure that the AMOS internet and phone systems would provide sufficient internet speed and reliable call quality.  Epsilon designed and implemented secure Private and Public wired and wireless networks to provide  data access and phone coverage across the new facility, and to allow connectivity for future digital displays and installations. Epsilon partnered with two established local providers—ERC Broadband for fiber internet services, and RingFree Communications for hosted VoIP telephony. Start your transformation CONTACT US NOW
